How to get my 20 month old to stop whining and crying!?
My 20 month old child was sick.. had a high fever but no other symptoms.. I took him to the doctor and the she said that he needs to sweat this virus out, no big thing. He did and his temp has come down… but my son continues to whine/cry allllll the time and I am going out of my mind. What can I do? I raise my voice but feel horrible doing so. He can’t talk yet, so that adds to the frustration.

All you can do is just offer him things like a warm bath, lots of liquid to drink, maybe a Popsicle, also try giving him some Tylenol, that will make him feel better. If he continues to whine and cry give the doctor a call tomorrow, because maybe he has an infection or something like that, that is still bothering him.

I honestly would take him back to the doctor if he is still crying maybe he has some infection the fever could of come down but the pain could still be there. If it really is nothing he might just need lots of cuddles. Cuddle with him as much as possible. I mean he is only 20 months old that is to young to really for him to be crying and whining for no reason. There has to be something! I say lots of cuddles, lots of naps and snuggle time. And talk to the doctor again.

I have been told you should weigh yourself in the morning once a week and I’ve also heard you should way yourself before you have your evening meal can anyone help so I know when I should weigh myself. I tend to do it on a Friday morning but when I weigh my self on a Saturday my weigh fluoridates.

I always weigh myself in the morning before I’ve eaten anything so that I get an accurate weight. I notice that right after I eat a meal that the scale moves a pound or so. I actually weigh myself daily in the morning. It helps me stay on track from day to day but I don’t freak out if it goes up a pound or so since it all depends on what you ate the night before. I have been on weight watchers for about 7 months now and weigh in on Tuesday afternoons and normally it’s a little heavier than when I weigh in the morning b/c of my clothes and what I’ve eaten.
