Good, but underrated movies?
I just watched a great flick that came out a couple of years ago that did very poorly at the box office. I checked it out only because it featured a gorgeous hispanic actress who is not a big star, but absolutely sizzles on the screen. It turned out to be one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while.

Can you name some other little known movies that are worth a viewing? You know the kind. Independent films, art house, college student made.

By the way, the one I just saw was Illegal Tender. The actress in it was the stunning Wanda De Jesus.

-Panic in the Skies! (with Kate Jackson) – plane gets hit by lightning, pilots die, landing computer fries to a crisp… mwuahahahaha
-Final Decent ( with Robert Urich) Very exiting b movie in which a boeing gets hit by another lots smaller plane, and then, they can only climb…. (aaaah!)
-Final Run ( with Robert Urich) Exciting out of control train movie.
-Turbulence ( ray liotta I think… ) crazy killer and surviving stewardess who has to fly the plane, a big fat boeing. ( i love stuntflying with boeings…)
-The Langoliers ( stephen king I think… ) they fly through a rip in time… creapy monsters too.
-Executive Decision (1996) with stephen seagal and Kurt russel. plane gets hijacked, and they get on the plane by use of another "docking" plane… thriller.

and of course,

-Pandora’s clock, with Richard Dean Anderson. ( macgyver) about a virus on an airplane… nice one!

Doing Hard Time.
No one knows about this movie and even if they do, they say its stupid. But this is 1 of my favourite films. Yeah its B film and doesnt have perfect actors but trust me its good, watch it, you’ll know wat im talkin bout if you justtt watch it. I recomend it to you.

Also Michael Manns film "Miami Vice"
Is highly underrated when it is a great film.

Am I a baritone or tenor?
Recently, I have begun singing for a band, which is also my first real attempt at singing at an ‘intentioned’ level. (I mean, I’ve done karaoke and all that, but never sung seriously anywhere)

How do I know whether I’m a baritone or a tenor? I know this is best solved through a visit to a voice coach, however money is really tight at the moment.

I definitely have a deep speaking voice, but some have also commented that I’m a tenor. I’m not really sure which one I am, as I can sing reasonably well (for my experience level) in both lower and higher octaves. I’m also comfortable singing either.

*I do get hoarse after a couple of hours singing. Must be about breath control.

You won’t need a professional voice coach if there is a competant choir director in your area. Try the high school or any church with a choir; the director is usually a trained musician who evaluates voices all the time. Most would be happy to help you out – they’ll probably take the opportunity to try and recruit you! – and could give you a very good idea in just a couple minutes.

Working with what you said, your speaking voice is only a partial indicator. Most guys speak too low anyway; it’s an image thing, whether we mean to talk deeply or not. And if you have others who think you sing in the tenor range, they may just be hearing you use a head voice/falsetto, which is frequently better-developed in basses. I’d put some money on you being a baritone, but without hearing you in person it’s really only an educated guess. Good luck finding out!

If you want to get into opera, your tessitura will need to be evaluated by a professional. They take into account range, volume, timbre, etc. Try recording yourself singing some of the arias listed on the above page and then give it to someone schooled in opera or choral music to evaluate what range suits you best. (Keep in mind that any serious work requires several years of voice training.)

Remember that these classifications refer primarily to the the range of the role and not necessarily the range of the singer. In some rare cases, a singer can sing in multiple ranges (i.e. Tenor & Countertenor).

However, when you say you’re singing in a ‘band’, i’m imagining a pop/rock band, yes? If this is the case then a lot of the lines involved for most styles are within the tenor range, and if you’ve been singing along and practicing to this kind of music, then you may be more of a tenor rather than a baritone.

Maybe if you can give us an idea of some of the songs you can sing comfortably (in their original keys) we’d be able to work out whether you’re a tenor or baritone.

how do you make a puffball dress puffy?
for my gcse textiles course i wanted to make puffball dress out of scratch but i dont know how to make the puffball part a big puff.

a lot of websites say to pin the bottom of the hem to the top..or summink like that..but i dont understand whats meant by that.
