Messianic Jews: When did you first believe in Jesus as the only and true Messiah?
Jesus is God (John 1:1-3,14). He is the MESSIAH. He is the Savior.
Isaiah 7:14 prophesied the Virgin Birth of Christ our Savior. Indeed he is the Messiah. He will return with power in glory at the end of time as he has promised(Acts 1:9-11).
This is a fact, not fiction. Beware of false teachers that tell you otherwise. Beware of those who deny the deity of Christ. Jesus died on the Cross for the Sins of the World(John 3:16). Jesus is God(John 1:1-3). He was one with God the Father in the Creation of the World (Genesis 1:1).
Special note to all Jews, Atheists and Agnostics:
According to the 19th century Scholar Henry Liddon, Jesus fulfilled to the letter no fewer than 332 Old Testament Prophecies. 29 Messianic Prophecies were fulfilled in the final 24 hours of his life alone.

His coming glory—Malachi 3:2-3, Luke 3:17
Jesus Christ without a doubt fulfilled all the Messianic Prophecies. He is Lord. He is sovereign. He is God. He intercedes for us in the Heavenly Sanctuary. He is coming back for His Chuch as He has promised (John 14:1-3).
Have faith dear friends in God. The Holy Bible is our only guide.
Thank you Change for a good question, and giving Messianics a chance to speak. I am not exactly Messianic, I am a Christian, but I am moving closer to the Messianic way of expressing my faith in Yeshua. (Jesus) I believe that those Messianics and Christians who are otherwise legally Jewish still have a right to call themselves Jews. They are still descendants of Avraham Yitzakh and Yaakov and sometimes even of Yehudah (Abraham Isaac and Jacob and Judah). That to me is what makes one a Jew.
Even to the Jews it is not based solely on what one believes. An atheist believes that there is no God. This is a violation of the first Commandment. "I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt." The first commandment is to believe that God exists and that He cares for those who love and seek Him. This is why it truly confuses that atheists can still be Jews while Christians and Messianics can not. If it’s based solely on belief then it’s based solely on belief. If a Jew who believes on Yeshua HaMashiach can no longer call him/herself a Jew, then neither should an atheist. If an atheist who denies the existence of God and the historical accuracy of the Scriptures can still be a Jew then a Christian or Messianic can be too. (I’m not ranting, I’m simply expressing my confusion.)
Btw, the Messianics I know are not into proselytizing Jews or anyone else. In fact I have been SOUNDLY REBUKED for talking about "witnessing" to Jews. They do believe, however, in making a defense for the hope that dwells within them.
I would ask what these Scriptures, listed by Change, mean to Jews?

Most Messianic Jews always believed in Christ as their saviour, since almost all of them are actually Christians who’ve simply changed their name so the can pretend to be Jews and try to win converts.
The rest of your post is standard self-serving Christian nonsense. It’s wrong, but that’s OK, because you don’t care, do you?

I’m an atheist and if I were to come to the belief that Jesus was the "only and true Messiah," would I be called a "Messianic Atheist"?
I didn’t think so.
Messianic Jews = Protestant Christians trying to appropriate the Jewish faith.
Kikuchiyo | Oct 16, 2009
Messianic Jew = Christian
Edit: Kikuchiyo, there is a nascent "Messianic Islam" movement now, so "Messianic Atheist" is not so far-fetched as that, lol.

Wow. Way to use the same old tired "prophecies" that have already been debunked.
